GIANT/MARTIN’S ASSOCIATES RECOGNIZED AS PROGRESSIVE GROCER’S TOP WOMEN IN GROCERY

Carlisle, PA – Progressive Grocer, a leading retail food industry trade publication, has recognized five GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets associates among its 2015 Top Women in Grocery.

Now in its ninth year, the Top Women in Grocery honors outstanding female leaders within the retailer and supplier community sectors in the categories of senior-level executives, rising stars and store managers.

Those GIANT/MARTIN’S associates honored in the rising stars category at Progressive Grocer’s gala celebration on Nov. 12 in Orlando, FL included:

  • Joyce Golden, manager, district human resources
  • Phyllis Smith, specialist, front end

Store managers recognized at the gala celebration included:

  • Sherry Beitler, store manager, GIANT at 4320 N. 5th St. Highway, Temple
  • Donna Lonsinger, store manager, MARTIN’S at 1000 Logan Blvd., Altoona
  • Jeanine Wolczyk, store manager GIANT at 70 S. Locust St., Hazleton
