MARTIN’S FOOD MARKETS COMPLETES REMODELS AT THE VILLAGE AND COLONIAL SQUARE STORES

Carlisle, PA – MARTIN’S Food Markets has completed remodels of its stores located at 7035 Three Chopt Road in Richmond and at 3107-15 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia. The stores underwent ten-week remodels to provide customers with an expanded product selection and features for a more convenient shopping experience.

“We’re so proud to reinvest in the greater Richmond community, and I’m proud of our associates who worked quickly to make these remodels happen,” said Beth Davis, district director. “The stores are now easier to shop, we have broadened our product selection, and our customers will continue to find great values in every department.”

The Village and Colonial Square customers will find key departments such as produce, deli, meat, and bakery have been freshened with new décor and fixtures along with an increased assortment of product. Key areas such as organic produce, grocery, dairy, and frozen foods have been expanded.

With an eye on energy conservation, LED lighting was newly installed in many areas of the store, including overhead track lights, spotlights on specialty areas & displays, exterior store signs and in the frozen food cases. LED lights are longer-lasting and are expected to reduce wattage by half.
