MARTIN’S FOOD MARKET COMPLETES REMODEL AT HARBOUR POINTE STORE
Carlisle, PA – MARTIN’S Food Market has completed a major remodel and a 6,000 square foot addition of its store located at 13700 Hull Street Road, Midlothian, Virginia. The store underwent a five-month remodel to provide customers with an expanded product selection and features for a more convenient shopping experience.
“With this remodel, we are now able to offer our customers an even easier place to shop,” said Mary Wedlock, store manager. “On behalf of our store management team and associates, we are proud to showcase a wider selection of products and new grocery amenities.”
Harbour Pointe customers will find key departments such as produce, meat, seafood, dairy, frozen foods, and beer & wine have been freshened with new décor and fixtures along with an improved variety of product. The pharmacy took on a new look and location, now adjacent to the health and beauty care department.
Emphasizing MARTIN’S ongoing commitment to health and wellness, customers will now find a broader assortment of natural and organic products in a dedicated section called Nature’s Promise Marketplace, which was expanded to include more than 2,500 frozen, dairy, grocery and special diet selections. To assist customers on gluten-free diets due to celiac disease or other health concerns, the gluten-free product area located within Nature’s Promise Marketplace was increased to sixteen feet.
With an eye on energy conservation, LED lighting was newly installed in many areas of the store, including overhead track lights, spotlights on specialty areas & displays, exterior store signs and in the frozen food cases. LED lights are longer-lasting and are expected to reduce wattage by half.
It was announced previously that in partnership with Bon Secours, an in-store health clinic will open in the Harbour Pointe MARTIN’S early in 2015. The Bon Secours clinic will provide retail health care without an appointment seven days a week with evening hours. Bon Secours medical providers can treat a wide range of minor ailments including colds and flu, ear infections, minor burns and rashes, sinus infections and sore throats.
