Carlisle, PA – GIANT Food Stores has completed major remodels of its stores located at 830 North US Highway 15 in Dillsburg and 255 Cumberland Parkway in Mechanicsburg. The stores underwent six-month remodels to provide customers with an expanded product selection and features for a more convenient shopping experience.

“With our remodels now complete, we are able to offer customers a wider variety of products at the everyday savings and value they expect from GIANT,” said Mike Golden, district director. “On behalf of our store management teams and associates, we are excited to showcase our new state-of-the-art shopping amenities to our customers.”

Dillsburg and Mechanicsburg customers will find key departments such as produce, deli, meat, and bakery have been freshened with new décor and fixtures along with an increased variety of product. In the Cumberland Parkway store, other departments such as dairy and frozen foods have been expanded. For added speed and convenience, two EasyScan self-checkout registers were also installed as part of the Cumberland Parkway remodel.

With an eye on energy conservation, LED lighting was newly installed in many areas of the store, including overhead track lights, spotlights on specialty areas & displays, exterior store signs and in the frozen food cases. LED lights are longer-lasting and are expected to reduce wattage by half.

The Dillsburg GIANT was replaced in 2002, and the Mechanicsburg location has been in existence since 1998. Both stores are open twenty-four hours daily.
