You Will Need: 3 tablespoons water + 1/2 cup vegetable oil + 2 eggs (For cakelike brownies, use 3 tablespoons water, 1/2 cup vegetable oil and 3 eggs). Heat oven as directed in chart below. Grease bottom of pan. Stir Brownie Mix, water, oil and eggs in medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan. Bake: Bake as directed in chart or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean; cool. Pan Size: 13 Inch x 9 Inch; Oven Temp: 350 degrees F; Bake Time (In minutes) (If using nonstick pan, shorten bake time by 3 min): 24-26; Pan Size: 9 Inch x 9 Inch; Oven Temp: 350 degrees F; Bake Time (In minutes) (If using nonstick pan, shorten bake time by 3 min): 40-42; Pan Size: 8 Inch x 8 Inch; Oven Temp: 325 degrees F; Bake Time (In minutes) (If using nonstick pan, shorten bake time by 3 min): 49-51. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Make brownies using 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup oil and 2 eggs for regular brownies, 3 eggs for cakelike brownies. Do not eat raw brownie batter. Betty's Tip: To cut warm brownies easily, use plastic knife and short sawing motions. Store tightly covered. Stir in an ingredient for intense flavor! Salty Crunch: Add 1/2 cup crushed mini pretzels or potato chips. Fruity Chew: Add 1/2-1 cup dried cherries, cranberries or coconut. More Chocolate: Add 1-2-1 cup chopped candy bars.
