You will need: Suggested cooking apples: Braeburn, Cortland, Empire, Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Idared, Jonagold, Jonathan or Rome. 6-8 medium to large cooking apples (about 2 1/2lbs.) 5 tablespoons margarine or butter. Directions: 1. Prepare. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine contents of package with softened margarine or butter in a large bowl. Mix with a fork until thoroughly blended. Set aside. 2. Peel. Core and slice apples. 3. Place. Sliced apples in an ungreased 8" square pan and sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over apples. 4. Bake recipe at 375 degrees F for 20-30 minutes until fruit is tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm. Serving suggestions.
