Total time: 5 minutes. Makes 1 cup. You will need (Read labels of all recipe ingredients to ensure all are gluten-free): 1 pkg McCormick gluten-free gravy mix. 1 cup water. Stovetop Directions: 1. Stir water gradually into gravy mix with whisk in small saucepan. 2. Stirring frequently, cook on medium heat until gravy comes to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3 to 4 minutes (gravy will thicken upon standing). Microwave Directions: 1. Stir water into gravy mix in 1-1/2 quart microwavable bowl. 2. Microwave on high 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened, stirring after each minute. Microwave ovens vary; cook time is approximate. Serve over beef or mashed potatoes. Kitchen Tips: Herbed Mushroom Brown Gravy: Melt 1 tbsp. butter in small saucepan on medium heat. Add 1 cup chopped mushrooms and 1/4 tsp. McCormick Thyme leaves; cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in water and Gravy Mix and continue to cook as directed.
