Soak the bulbs for 2 hours in lukewarm water before planting. Water soaking moisturizes the bulbs and jump stars the rooting process. Loosen soil prior to planting. Dig a hole in the loosened soil and place the bulbs in the hole. Ranunculus bulbs should be planed tip up, claw facing down. Cover with soil, then give a good dose of water.
