When do I need to use Stye eye therapy warming compress? Use the warming compress if you have a stye or dry eyes. Please seek medical attention if your condition worsens, there is a possible infection, or other symptoms develop. Directions: 1. Inspect the warming compress before use to ensure no damaged has occurred to the compress. 2. Wash the compress cover with soap and warm water and allow to dry before use. 3. Insert compress completely inside the cover. 4. Place covered compress in microwave oven for 10 seconds on high. Test temperature on the back of your hand or other body part to determine if the compress is too hot before use. 5. If necessary, reheat for an additional 5 second interval and test temperature again until desired temperature is reached; however, do not exceed 20 seconds total heating time per use. 6. Once at desired temperature, apply the covered compress gently on the eye area for 5-10 minutes. 7. You may rewarm the compress 3 to 6 times per day, following the directions above each time. 8. Inspect compress after each use to ensure no damage has occurred to the compress. 9. Wash compress after each use and before storage.
