Vegan jackfruit meatballs. 29% less fat than Italian meatballs (Italian meatballs contain 19 g total fat per serving [85 g]. Jack & Annie's Jack Meatballs contain 13 g total fat per serving [82 g]). Gluten free. Made without gluten. Vegan. Good source of protein from plants. Good source of fiber. Our best new recipe yet. Hi, I'm Annie! Growing up eating meat, I knew I should eat more plants - but I wanted more from them. The deliciousness of meat, without all kinds of processing. I searched the world over for a better way to enjoy plant-first foods until I found the perfect plant, jackfruit. Meet Jack - short for jackfruit! Jack, grown on the wild jack tree, is a real, whole plant that eats like your favorite meat, naturally. Prepared simply with seasonings and sauces, it's as satisfying as it is juicy. And it's better for you, for farmers, and our planet. Whole Jack: Always our first ingredient. Facebook. Instagram. Twitter. (at)jackandannies. Cooking Instructions: Not ready to eat. From frozen, cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F or above for food safety and quality. Stovetop (Most Delicious!): On low heat, simmer meatballs with your favorite sauce in a saucepan for 13-16 minutes, stirring frequently. Optionally, before simmering, saute meatballs in 1T vegetable or coconut oil on medium to sear the outside. Air Fryer: At 400 degrees F, cook meatballs for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking. Serve with your favorite sauce. Oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place meatballs on a non-stick or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway. Serve with your favorite sauce. Food should be seared but remain moist. Please remember to let sit for 2 minutes before enjoying. Keep Frozen: Ready to cook.
