Lemon Herb Butter: Simmer & Serve Sauce. Total time: 5 minutes. Makes 1 cup. You Will Need: 1 pkg. McCormick Simmer & Serve Sauce Mix. 1 cup milk. Stovetop Directions: 1. Whisk milk and sauce mix in small saucepan until well blended. 2. Stirring frequently, cook on medium heat until sauce comes to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Sauce will thicken upon standing). Microwave Directions: 1. Stir milk into Sauce Mix in microwavable bowl. 2. Microwave on high 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened, stirring after each minute. Microwave ovens vary; cook time is approximate. Kitchen Tips: Serve over chicken, seafood, vegetables, rice or pasta, if desired. For flavorful twist, stir in a dash of Parmesan cheese, cayenne pepper or white wine while simmering.
