When prepared as directed, it provides the same amounts of calcium, and Vitamins A & D as fluid milk. Instant Nonfat Dry Milk requires no refrigeration until prepared. Directions: To make 1 quart, add 1 1/4 cups of Instant Nonfat Dry Milk to about 3 3/4 cups of water. Mix until dissolved. Drink or use immediately, or cover and store in a tightly sealed glass container and refrigerate. Due to settling, the number of quarts made by following the measuring-cup directions may be less than the number declared on the label. 3 Easy Ways to mix Stir. In a glass container, stir vigorously. Shake. Cover tightly and shake for 30 seconds. Blend. Set blender a lowest speed for 15 seconds. To use in cooking or baking When the recipe calls for milk, just use the stated amount of liquid Instant Nonfat dry milk. Store in a cool, dry place.
