If you find that your dog has a tendency to gain weight when fed these amounts, you may need to reduce his calorie intake by feeding the amount recommended in the alternate column. Continue to adjust feeding amounts accordingly to help your dog reach and maintain his ideal body condition. Be sure to monitor his weight on a regular basis, making sure that his ribs are easily felt and his waist is visible when viewed from above.
