Keep frozen. Thawing Instructions: Place whole crawfish in refrigerator for 10-12 hours. To serve cold: Thaw and serve. To serve hot: Steaming thaw: Thaw and steam 4-5 minutes. Microwave: Thaw. Remove from bag and place in microwave safe dish. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stir half way through cooking time. Microwave cooking times vary. Check to make sure crawfish are hot completely though. Microwave Frozen: Remove from bag and place in microwave safe dish. Cook on high for 3 minutes, stir half way through cooking time. Microwave cooking times vary. Check to make sure crawfish are hot completely though. Remove from packaging before cooking. Peeling Instructions: 1. Separate the head from the tall by twisting the head slightly and pulling away from the tail. Discard the head. 2. Peel off the top segments of the tail shell by loosening from the side and pulling around the meat. Discard the loose shell. 3. Gently pinch the fan of the tail between the thumb and forefinger. Slide the meat out of the shell, removing the vein.
