Store in a cool, dry place. Preparation instructions: Rinse thoroughly before cooking. Place grain in a fine strainer and hold under cold running water until water runs clear, drain well. Cooking instructions: Boil 2 cups of water. Combine water (or broth) and 1 cup of quinoa in a medium saucepan. Bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook until grain is translucent and the germ has spiraled out from each grain. Cook about 15-20 minutes. Difference in altitude, hardness of water and product moisture may change the suggested cook time. Quinoa is an agricultural product. Despite the use of modern cleaning equipment, it is not always possible to remove foreign materials. Sort, remove foreign materials and rinse before cooking.
