Tips for serving Romanoff caviar: Gently lift when spooning out: caviar is fragile and must be treated tenderly. Use non-metal implements. Metal can impart a metallic flavor. Recommendation is mother-of-pearl or plastic. Serve simply with buttered toast points or blinis, and creme fraiche. Add appeal to canapes and other hors d'oeuvres.
