Carlisle, PA (April 16, 2019) – From Easter brunch and building the perfect basket to a traditional Passover Seder, GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets is the destination for all things spring this year.

“Spring is in full bloom at GIANT and our aisles are filled with everything you need to make your holiday special,” said John Ruane, senior vice president of merchandising, GIANT Food Stores. “From tips on how to select the perfect ham and side dishes, to creating a fresh floral arrangement and building the best Easter basket ever, our associates are ready to help customers with all their holiday needs.”

Holiday Meal

Whether honey-glazed, baked, or mixed with eggs, ham is the centerpiece of many Easter meals. For tips to prepare this Easter favorite or new recipes to try, visit GIANT’S Savory Recipe Center.

As announced earlier this month, GIANT/MARTIN’S customers who shop using their BonusCard can earn extra rewards points toward a free ham certificate through April 21. The certificate can be redeemed from April 12 through April 21 at any GIANT/MARTIN’S store. A current tally of a customer’s extra rewards points can be found at the bottom of their receipt when they shop using a BonusCard.

Stores also have a wide assortment of Kosher for Passover items for celebrations including matzo ball and soup mix, meats, poultry, cheese and desserts. From now through April 18, BonusCard customers who spend $50 on qualifying products can earn a free five pound box of Manischewitz, Yehuda or Aviv Matzos.

Egg-cellent Dye Jobs

What would Easter be without Easter eggs? Egg-dyeing is the perfect activity for the young and young at heart, GIANT/MARTIN’S offers a variety, including glitter, sparkle, shimmer, neon, golden and Emoji-themed dye kits from Paas.

Build your Best Easter Basket

From the basket to the basket fillings, GIANT/MARTIN’S has plenty of ideas for all ages. Both local and national brand candy favorites from chocolate bunnies to jelly beans and everything in between are stocked on store shelves. New this year, check out Cadbury Shimmer Mini Eggs, sure to make any basket extra special.

In the seasonal aisle, choose from a variety of spring toys like jump ropes, sidewalk chalk, bubbles or a brand new chocolate-scented plush bunny to snuggle with after the egg hunt. GIANT/MARTIN’S also offers crayons, markers and coloring books every day for the younger crowd. For older kids, throw in a gift card to one of their favorite places. BonusCard shoppers can earn four times the Gas Extra Rewards points on select gift card purchases, including Regal Cinema, iTunes, Uber, Kohl’s and Xbox.

Spring is in Bloom

For a true sign of spring, look no further than GIANT/MARTIN’S floral departments, which are filled with tulips, lilies, hydrangeas and other flowers. Choose from store made arrangements, mixed flower bouquets or potted plants. The talented floral experts at GIANT/MARTIN’S can create a custom arrangement to complete the look or give as a gift. GIANT/MARTIN’S sources all flowers from farms whose stated goal is to help producers in developing countries achieve better trading conditions and to promote sustainability.
